Holy crackers! I was reading AMTB’s comment above mine and I had myself a little heartastroke and then immediately took back every single bad thing I have ever said about the total and complete lack of a summer here in Maine…because seriously, $75 for 15 minutes? SERIOUSLY? I don’t even think HVAC dudes would KNOW what to charge to work on residential AC’s out here. OK I jest, I think.

Glad your hubby was able to work out the kinks and saved your trip to BlogHer. Look forward to hearing more about your trip!

HVAC= Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning

We charge $90 for the first hour. Which is us coming to your house and diagnosing the problem. Hopefully fixing it. Each additional hour is $75 (yes, we charge in 15 minute increments) and parts are, of course, additional.

I’d give you a good rate, but I’m pretty sure the airfare for DJ and I to fly out to look at your HVAC would preclude us. And yes, I’d come with him. Simply so I could sit in your bathroom with you. With an ice cold cocktail.

My washing machine broketh last weekend, yeah, it pretty much sucks. Definitely not as bad as the A/C breaking in July, but it still sucks. I’m praying to the washing machine Gods that I win the new washer/dryer set they’re giving away at Blogher. (crosses fingers!)
