The blogosphere’s reaction to the loss of sweet Maddie is overwhelming. I’ve never been prouder to be friends with you people – this is simply magical. I wish Maddie was here to see the amazing impact she is having on the world, but then I remember she’s got a great seat to watch over each of us and she’s cheering us all on.
There are walks all over the country this weekend and next. If you are in the Cincinnati area, there is nothing I’d like more then for you to join our team. More information can be found here:
http://www.marchforbabies.org/teams/698355
Our plan is as follows, so if you want to join us , come on out:
On Sunday, I’ll have a sign that reads “Maddie’s Mob” attached to a bouquet of purple balloons with a pink one floating above it. I’ll have Doug holding it up so you can hopefully find it and therein find us. Shannan knows the area and suggested we meet here: in front of the fountain, right by the main entrance to the park. The one with the three faces that each spew water:

And finally, it is never too late to donate – the smallest amount can do wonders for families facing the same woes Maddie’s family faced – help March of Dimes work to end this sad fact, won’t you?

I wish I lived a teenie bit closer. I would still do the drive down if my BFF’s baby wasn’t getting baptized this weekend. I will be walking in Sandusky in May. Hopefully I can get a mob together myself.

Amazing Greis
We’ll be walking together, just MANY, MANY, MANY miles apart. I’m sure Maddie will be walking along with us, cheering us on and smiling that GREAT big smile at all the support that the country has shown her and the Spohr family.
Hope ya’ll have a great walk. Take lots of pictures. I’ll do the same.
Hugs!
